Help David continue the fight

Our brother David has been battling stage 4 prostate cancer for 7 years... since 2011! Early on, the doctors told David that he would have only a few years to live. David defied them and fought back HARD against it! We were all amazed, encouraged, and felt blessed when those years came and went, and David is still with us! He had cancer treatments every 6 months for the past 7 years and the cancer was in remission. But in May of 2018, the horrible words “IT’S BACK” were uttered. The cancer is not only in the prostate but also in his hip.  And recently, David was diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis and a herniated disc. David is a fighter and is not giving in but, because of the stage of the cancer and his narrowing spine, David suffers from a LOT OF PAIN! It has become so debilitating that David can no longer walk without an assistive device and he can only work a few hours a week in an effort to support himself and his family. The 7-year fight against cancer has taken a toll on David and his family emotionally, mentally and above all, financially. David may need surgery for his spine and the bills are stacking up quickly as he has depleted his savings on medical treatments over the past 7 years fighting cancer.   
  
David is a humble, compassionate, generous, and selfless man. He is usually the one taking care of others (family, friends, coworkers, and patients), and not used to asking for help himself.  For many years, David worked as a Respiratory Therapist, caring for patients and helping them heal to live a quality life. Now, David NEEDS OUR HELP to heal and get quality of life back.
