Help Alena live a better life as an amputee!

Hello I’m putting this fundraiser together on behalf of my cousins David & his daughter Alena Smith to help them kickstart their new life together.
Back in March 2021 Alena (3) and her sister Emma (18 months) were exposed to frigid temperatures for 2 days and nights. Sadly, Emma passed away due to hypothermia. Alena has had to undergo multiple surgeries, and lost both of her legs right below the knee. Their mother is charged with Child Abuse resulting in death and bodily injury.
Alena will be in a wheelchair for the rest of her life. This tragedy has left a lasting impact on her but she is very brave and especially excited to get her "new legs"
- her prosthetics! She will need new ones every year as she continues to grow.
That being said she is now in custody of her father and they absolutely need all the help they can get. They are in need of financial assistance, a wheelchair accessible vehicle, food, toys, and clothes. As well as any assistance with childcare that accepts handicap children. That has been a hurdle for David who is in constant meetings and medical appointments during the day and isn't able to go back to work yet. Unfortunately he doesn't qualify for any public assistance due to the income he gets when working.
Literally anything helps, no donation is too little. Please help this family get back to as closest to what can be called normal.
