Dash's Liver Cancer

Everyone who knows Dash knows he has always been a light to be around! In just his three little years of life, he has never failed to make someone laugh every day. I never knew how great it could be to be an aunt until Dash came around and showed how much love he was capable of giving. Over the past few months, Dash unfortunately has experienced a sudden decline in his health and hasn't been his laughing self. Doctors have discovered a tumor of about 7 inches on and in his liver. The very large size of the tumor is taking up the majority of his liver and pushing some of his vital organs, including his heart and stomach, out of place. This is causing secondary issues and more pain. He was admitted into the pediatrics oncology center and it is not clear how long he is going to have to stay at this time (his little one year old brother is already missing Dash so much!). As of now, Dash is going through more MRIs, CT scans, and other tests to determine the exact nature of the tumor. He will have a biopsy on Monday to help with the final diagnosis. After that, treatment and chemotherapy options are going to be discussed. Although we are not sure what Dash will have to face, we know that he is a fighter and will take whatever it is head on! We are hoping to raise money to help take some of the financial burden off of his parents while they take leave from work in order to focus on helping Dash fight. Every thought, prayer, dollar, and share help and we thank you for your support! It has been and will continue to be a very overwhelming and difficult time but all of your positive thoughts and comments are heard and appreciated more than you know.
