Help Dana Fight For Her Life!

Let's help this beautiful mama of 5 get back to her boys!!!

Dana is a Grande Prairie local who is in the battle for her life with EDS & Lyme Disease. She is a fighter, and a tough one at that, but event the strongest need support now and then!

Here is a recent note that Dana had posted on her Facebook page that outlines her current needs. I have increased the goal amount for her fundraiser, as this money would undoubtedly help in a huge way and be put towards various medical tests and equipment. This was written in December, and it now being January her situation is even more dire and urgent. I know this community is so supportive from fundraising that took place for my own health problems last year and I can only hope people will open there hearts once more and help a strong woman who has frankly been dealt a pretty sh**ty hand! 


"This Mama, is needing at minimum $5000 by the end of the month. $7000 is also needed for oxygen machines & tanks. 

A medical device that I have been trying to get for the last 2 years has been offered too me to have first bite on. 
I don’t like to ask for help, especially when it comes to money. I ‘m at a point where I have to put my pride aside & ask for HELP!
I need oxygen, circulation & nutrients in this body. I need more cash for tests to see where I am at. Alberta Health doesn’t care what is really wrong ( 16 different types of meds and let’s try more and more until your liver gives out, your kidneys & heart). Alberta Health will not take results from Vancouver (VGH) & will not run my genome sequencing which is what I really need to find out which subtypes of Elhers Danlos I have, so we know where & what the Boys have to be tests for. Along with life expectancy. I also need to send blood work to Germany again to see where I am
with my fight for Lyme & co-infections. I need an upright bed so sleeping with out vomiting at night.

They don’t tell you before you end up sick & it’s rare...

I have 5 boys who need to know what they are up against so they don’t get to my stage at my age of 36.
