Help Dan Recover from Major Surgeries

Hello, my name is Joel, and my family and I are fundraising for our friend, Dan MacLeod ("Uncle Dan" to our kids...the picture is from a family outing to the theater three Christmases ago).

Over the last year, Dan has had three major life-saving surgeries to deal with cardiac and GI issues. In the last one, he lost more than half of his stomach. His ongoing recovery has been difficult, and he has been hospitalized four more times. He is currently not allowed to work as he is still very weak and has a long way to go in his recovery.
