Help Dallas Find space to grieve her husband

If you know and love Dallas as I have for over 20 years, you will know her story. You will also know that she recently lost her soulmate of 14 years very recently from a illness which came on very quickly and was very unexpected. Dallas has been living with Breast Cancer for 7 years and in last 6 months have found tumours on her adrenal gland on her kidney..she is now back on 3 month oncology reviews. For the last few years been living with type 2 diabetes and Addison Disease.... which affects the nervous systems ability to cope with stress and anything that raised her Adrenalin.... So you can imagine how the shock of losing her soul mate of 14 years has effected her physically as much as mentally.
Tim faithfully stuck by her side through losing both her breasts and then the aggressive chemo that almost killed her twice... They were never apart and the void it has left has left her heart shattered.
Having to deal with the everyday problems of bills medical expenses and what her future will be is a constant stress that she hasn’t even begun to grieve yet. Dallas always considers her friends as her family so it should be natural that we would do all we can to help her deal with something she had no control over.
Tim went in for treatment for his 3 different types of blood diseases and within a few days was in ICU. Tim and Dallas never had a chance to say goodbye to each other, before doctor's had to place him on life support. She kept a constant vigil at his bedside while we were hoping and praying for a miracle. Dallas was constantly holding his hand till he took his final breath 3 days later.
If you know our beautiful Dallas, you know would never draw attention to herself or think she is worthy of any help more than anyone else is ... even when going through her breast cancer fight when she lost her breasts, her hair and her health she never wavered in being available and willing to listen to her friends when they needed help. She is usually the one rallying around people in need, helping to raise funds which she and Timmy did on many occasions providing entertainment and then donating their payment straight back because of their shared love of community, friendship and music. Dallas even organised singing comps for the kids in her area off her own back for no financial benefit. All for the benefit of the kids.
As part of honouring what we know Tim's wishes would be, I feel like the right thing to do is to try and take some of the financial load and uncertainty off her shoulders so she can find time and space to breathe and grieve the loss of her husband the way she has the right to do.
All of us know what a remarkable, selfless, loving, giving wife, mother grandmother, daughter and human being she truly is and I just know that Tim would be so proud of everyone rallying around to help and support her just as she has always done for everyone around her.
