Help Dakota beat cancer

Hi friends,

My name is Dakota. I am a rescue Weimaraner in need of some help. I was rescued from an abusive owner in early 2016 and taken in by someone I thought would give me a forever home. I had a great life with my new owners but after over a year and a half together, they decided I was too much to handle with their other large dog. I'm sweet, loving, very loyal and energetic. I'm currently with an amazing foster family in Manhattan Beach but they unfortunately cannot keep me either. Just recently I got adopted from my foster family (yay!) but when my new owner took me into the vet they found a very large lump on my chest. They had it biopsied and it turns out that I have cancer. Unfortunately I am back with my foster family who is at a loss for what to do. My chances of survival are very high if I am able to have my lump removed, the problem is the surgery costs $1500. Neither my foster family nor the pet rescue who helped place me is able to fully fund my surgery. I am scared and I don't want to die :( Any donation would help the pet rescue and my foster family. I've been such a good girl and I just want a chance at the life I deserve. Please please give me one last shot.
