HELP DAISY'S ANTIQUES & MARKET STAY IN SILVERLAKE
Daisy's Antiques & Market has been a hidden treasure in the Silverlake / Echo Park / Los Feliz community for 30 years. The owner, Maria aka Daisy as some regulars know her is being evicted by the building's owner after also helping them manage the building for 20 years in addition to running her business.
Maria has been selling furniture & groceries to locals, designers, and film crews for 30 years in her cute old school mom & pop market. She is extremely nice and always provides great deals along with a happy smile to all who shop with her. Her husband used to help in the business, but unfortunately passed away last year and she's been staying afloat despite COVID-19 and now this eviction is a huge blow to her.
Maria is a strong independent woman who immigrated from Mexico, worked long hours in construction, cleaning houses, became a citizen and started her own business all while raising a family. She does not deserve this and doesn't want to go down without a fight, so we've set up this gofundme to help with any costs she may have, we invite you to help us reach our goal.
