Help Cyrus beat leukemia

On February 22, 2018, the Schmit family rushed their 14 year old son Cyrus to the hospital in the middle of the night.  They soon found out that Cyrus had been diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (T.A.L.L.), a type of blood cancer.

3 weeks earlier, Cyrus had come down with a cough and had started feeling tired.   As time went on he began to get weaker and his family noticed swelling in his neck and lymph nodes.  Tests up to this point had been inconclusive, but Cyrus' condition continued to deteriorate.  Things took a turn for the worse when the Schmits received a late night phone call urging them to bring Cyrus down to the hospital immediately.

We have created this GoFundMe in hopes of raising money for his ongoing medical expenses and to help ease the financial burden on Cyrus and his family as he kicks cancer's butt.  

Cyrus is currently undergoing Chemotherapy and will be in the hospital for the near term, with the full treatment taking 3 years from start to finish.  Cyrus is making it much easier by being the strong person he is.
