Help Cyndle Fight Cancer

As most of you know, Cyndle Eyre was diagnosed with Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma with CNS in 2020 and have been undergoing treatment at MD Anderson. The doctors are amazing and our family is so grateful for the team of healthcare professionals that have walked this journey with her.

Last year, Cyndle underwent successful Yescarta CAR T-cell treatment that sent her into remission! Despite our hope that CAR T had finally kicked cancer's butt, new scans in August of 2021 revealed that the cancer was back. Her doctors are recommending a second round of CAR-T-cell treatment using a different brand, Breyanzi, as her best chance at beating this again. They believe her body is at a much stronger starting point and can accept the treatment to attack the source of the cancer.

The issue now is that her insurance, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana and Louisiana Office of Group Benefits has denied coverage for this treatment. With the support of her doctors, we have submitted three appeals and just received a denial in response to her 3rd and final external appeal. The team at MD Anderson said this is rare, so we do not understand why insurance has denied this, especially considering how necessary this treatment is to save her life.

After so many people have asked if we had a GoFundMe set up, we've decided to start one for Cyndle. The donations will go towards treatment, medical bills, and hotel stays.
