Help CSW Fix Or Replace Damaged Equipment

Over the weekend of December 23rd, there was a water pipe break at the KCK National Guard Armory. The soldiers at the armory arrived to 3 inches of standing water across the entire main floor and another 2 inches of water throughout the basement.

The staff at the armory was kind enough to let us store our ring and other equipment ( lights, electronics, etc ) in a storage area at the armory. We were able to get into the armory on Thursday, December 30th, 2022 to assess the damage to our equipment. Our electronics and lights are a total loss. The wood for our ring, ring ropes, turnbuckles/turnbuckle pads, and ring apron are ruined. The ring's metal frame & posts are rusting and MIGHT be a loss as well.

This has all been a huge emotional blow. After 15 months of hard work building up CSW and a great 2022, capped off by an amazing event that saw us do record attendance and turn a crucial corner, we were ready and extremely excited to continue building CSW in 2023….

And we still are! We are currently in talks with several venues to be our temporary home while the armory is renovated. Our biggest obstacle is our ring and equipment that were damaged. As stated, we know we need new wood, ropes, & turnbuckles/turnbuckle pads. If the frame is salvageable we will need to find someone to sandblast and repaint it. The worst case for us is we have to buy a new ring.

We initially weren't going to set up this fundraiser but due to the outpouring of messages and comments we've received from our great fans asking how they could help and telling us that we should set up a fundraiser, we have decided to do so.

Funds raised will be used to repair/replace our ring and destroyed equipment.
