My name is Cristiane, and I currently reside in Australia, where I initially came to study English. However, in June 2023, doctors diagnosed me with Scleroderma, a rare autoimmune condition. Scleroderma causes my immune system to mistakenly attack my body instead of protecting it, affecting the muscles throughout my body. Since February 2023, I've been experiencing constant pain and limited mobility, preventing me from performing simple daily tasks like combing my hair, getting dressed, or lifting light objects. Additionally, it has made my body thinner and affected my skin. Prior to this, I had already been diagnosed with Lupus, although it had been inactive for four years. I was predisposed to autoimmune diseases, and unfortunately, without knowledge, I underwent to a silicone placement, which later led to Scleroderma. The lack of information about the health risks associated with silicone was distressing, especially since the doctor was aware of my Lupus diagnosis yet proceeded with the procedure without informing me of the potential life threating risks. Now, removing the silicone is crucial for my recovery, but I've exhausted all my finances in 2023 trying to address this issue. I found out recently that the silicone is the main point of destroying my health. Therefore, I'm reaching out for your assistance in any form or shape to help me raising funds for my silicone explant (removal). The silicone in my breasts is directly linked to the development of Scleroderma, and its removal is essential for my survival. Your support in this endeavour would be immensely appreciated.
