Help create a mobile acupuncture clinic

Hi! My name is Brianna Loftus L.Ac. I’m a licensed acupuncturist and herbal medicine practitioner from Minnesota. I’m raising money to start a mobile acupuncture and herbal medicine clinic to serve my community.

Acupuncture has been shown to effectively treat chronic pain as good as prescription painkillers, and without the potential risks. In addition to pain, acupuncture and herbal medicine have been used for thousands of years and around the world to treat digestive issues, menstrual and hormonal issues, and problems like insomnia. In my city, there are neighborhoods where 15% of the population under 65 have no medical insurance. Additionally, the lack of transportation for some of these same communities create zones of poor health care access that can easily be addressed with support. 

By operating out of a refurbished travel trailer, I will be able to go where needed. My hope is to create a network of regular locations in order to visit 2 times a week. Acupuncture works best cumulatively,  so I want to give the opportunity for at least two visits a week at accessible times. 

The money raised here will help to pay for a vehicle able to tow the trailer, some interior renovation in the trailer and start up supplies for a mobile apothecary/herbal dispensary.
