Help Colorado Family To Their Feet!
Hello, my name is Sabrina. This is a message below comes from my second family’s dad. The affected family members are sisters, my close friends. This family has been through so much with me and I’m devastated seeing what has happened to their home. Every single penny donated will be going towards necessities, such as living arrangements, food, water, clothing. Thank you.
My daughter lost EVERYTHING in a house fire Sat. evening. It started around 5:30 and by 5:40, everything was engulfed in flames.
Though hundreds of homes have recently been burned in the wild fires... what makes this one different is that in the wild fire areas people were aware that an evacuation was possible, even probable. They were provided the opportunity to remove important papers, keepsakes and their more expensive items ie: jewelry, gaming consoles, tv's, computers etc. The time needed to get their pets and live stock to safety. That was not a luxury afforded in this case. She found one of 4 cats and the dog on her way out, 3 cats still unaccounted for. There was no time to get anything out, my daughter hadn't even had time to put on shoes, or grab a coat. Her backpack with her wallet remained inside. They need as much help as possible right now. I'm reaching out to friends and family, friends of friends and family, whatever you can afford, even sharing the post, ANYTHING would help.
