Help Cole Heal: Medical Expenses & Rent

Donation protected
Thank you for coming to this GoFundMe I created to help cover the costs of medical care for myself, my pets, and keeping my basic needs for living covered. I've outlined what it is exactly I'm seeking financial help with below for everyone's information and to help illuminate how this fund can help me get to a healthier life this year.

Total Costs: $10,150 out of $11,250 original goal remaining, breakdown below

Vet expenses: $1000
EDIT: Caelum had his vet visit on 2/15/2021 and his shots and wellness needs are all taken of. Next two big items will be getting his neuter and microchipping scheduled! ☺️ Merrill will be next for general wellness updates as well!

My dog Caelum needs to be neutered, micro chipped, and have all his shots updated as soon as possible. He's not far behind, but, since he's like my fuzzy son, I want to make sure that he's up to date and healthy. My cat also needs her yearly check up as well as some itchy ears investigated, which will take testing and medication. She's my princess and an amazing snuggle buddy. Both of my pets are the best companions I could ever ask for whole I'm home alone most days, they keep me engaged and grounded in reality since I have to pay attention to their behaviors and needs. Plus they're both very in tune with my emotions/health/wellness and they kindly give me love and support in an extremely special way. I actually considered making this GoFundMe just for their expenses, but I knew that if I could not be well enough to take care of them, it would all be moot anyways.

What I Need for Caelum, 1+ year old Australian Shepherd:
Neuter surgery + medications and follow-ups, microchipping, shot updates (rabies, immunizations, etc.)
Cost: $600

What I Need for Merrill, 8-11 year old Tortie Cat, FIV+:
Annual check up, shot updates, itchy ear diagnosis + treatment + medications
Cost: $400

Dental Health: $5000
For the last three years, I have coped with intense, daily pain in my mouth, face, and jaw due to one failed root canal and 4 impacted wisdom teeth squashing up and into my molars. Since then, two of the teeth have begin to rot away and I actually have exposed nerves which I patch for the time being, but I need to have sealed and healed. I simply cannot afford the cost, even after insurance, to have this done. I am at a point where i feel my jaw may begin to deteriorate if I'm not able to chew normally without pain. Relief from this pain would be incredible.

What I need: Five tooth extractions
Cost: $5000 at $900/extraction X 5 extractions + $500 taxes, fees, follow-up medications

Hearing Health: $1100
Due to a nasty cold about two years ago, I suddenly lost hearing in my right ear. I have been to an Ear/Nose/Throat specialist several times in the past two years, however after an MRI, exams, and testing that showed a marked loss of hearing in my right ear, I asked my doctor what i could do about it. The answer was live with it for free, or do further expensive testing and/or exploratory surgery to find out what's wrong, perhaps not even to fix it. Since then i have lost /most/ of my hearing in that ear and have persistent tinnitus. This all seems rather futile, but there is one thing i can do. One final round of testing to pinpoint where my hearing loss is and then being fitted for a hearing aid which can boost the signals that I lost in that ear. Easing the ringing in my ear and being able to hear, even a little better, would be amazing.

What I Need: Final ENT exam and testing +fitting for hearing aid
Cost: $100 for testing+fitting, $1000 for single hearing aid with tinnitus blocking

Vehicle + License Expenses: $1250
If you know me very well you know that I don't have my license yet, but I do have my permit and a vehicle. the vehicle is not road ready or registered in my name and I really need to rectify that as soon as possible. It has some issues that need to be addressed as well before it can pass inspection. I also need to insure it which requires me having a license so that I can get insurance and then register the vehicle 100% in my name.

What I Need: License + Road test fees, vehicle repairs, vehicle inspection, insurance first month fees, vehicle registration fee
Cost: $1250

Additional Funds: $540
In addition I've built in a small buffer of $540 for any unexpected costs for any of these items.

COMPLETE - Mental Health: $900
EDIT: HUGE thank you too my stepmom, Susan Fountain, for covering my testing fees! I've finished 3/10 hours as of 2/26/2021 and I'm on track to finish and have my report completed before the end of March!

I'm currently on my second medical leave this year from my job and have been undergoing treatment for my relapse of my cPTSD, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. During my first leave this year from work in August, it became clear to me and to my doctors that there was more than just my previous diagnoses at work, as I began to lose touch with reality on a daily basis and dissociated from my body to an alarming degree. Knowing that I would need to get the testing appropriate to diagnose what exactly is afflicting me, I began trying to get the testing needed to be diagnosed, however long wait lists and costs have prohibited me thus far. Despite this being medically necessary to diagnose me ongoing issues, insurance only approved 4 of the 7 hours I'll need to complete the testing, so i will need to pay out of pocket for the rest. Without this, I cannot move forward and be treated with the appropriate medications and treatment with the correct specialists.

What I need: 10 hours of Neuropsych Testing
Initial Cost: $300  for previous testing overview meeting
Further Cost: $600 for 3 hours of testing not covered by insurance

COMPLETE! Rent: $1480
EDIT: Thank you all for your contributions to this integral part of my journey to healing. Without stable housing, I wouldn't be able to continue working on getting the treatment i need to move forward. We're all up to date on rent from here out!

Due to several issues with my pay while I have been on medical leave, I am behind about a month in rent and will be behind again this coming month. My rent is remarkably low for the area and I am lucky to have accommodations like this and, honestly, it would be extremely hard to find new, better ones during the COVID-19 crisis. My landlady is extremely kind and has been working with me, but I simply need to catch up with her as soon as possible. This is not only to make sure I have a stable living environment while I'm working on my health and wellness, but also a huge help to my landlady who has been a blessing to me during COVID-19 and 2020 in general. She's a widow with no kids of her own and she has been an excellent landlady, Auntie to my pets, and kind mentor to me. I would really like to make sure she's getting what she's owed and deserving of.

What I Need: 1 month back rent, 1 month rent for February.
Cost: $1480 @ $740/month x 2 months
