Help Claire Return To The Swimming Pool

Hi, my name is Katherine and I am fundraising for my little sister, Claire. She is 12 years old.   I am fundraising to help pay for her swimming fees and to let her continue to swim as a competitive swimmer.  Before the pandemic, she was a very good swimmer (as you can see in  the video she is in lane 4).   She won many medals at high level competitions. However, when the pandemic came, she had to stop swimming and stay at home.

 

My father was a long distance truck driver. Unfortunately, he caught COVID during his work. After six weeks of hospitalization, he passed away and left me, Claire, and my mom at home.

 

My father's income paid for most of our living expenses and Claire’s swimming fees. My mom is the only source of income that we have now. Her income is not enough to pay for Claire’s swimming fees, since she has to provide money for the entire family. Claire wants to continue to swim, because she wants to become an Olympian one day. I made this fundraiser so she can continue to swim and reach her goal. The swimming club starts in the month of September, so when time comes, I hope she can go back to the pool and swim again.

 

Please help fundraise. My goal is to get to $15000 to pay for 2-3 years of swimming fees for my sister. If you fundraise, you will be helping a young child in a single parent household to stay active and continue with her dream.
