Help Claire get life changing top surgery

Hi, my name is Claire and I'm raising money for my top surgery. I came out as non-binary/trans-masc a few years ago, but I've wanted to have this surgery for more than 10 years.

If you don’t know, top surgery is a surgery performed on the chest as part of gender reassignment, especially to remove breast tissue and produce a masculine appearance of the chest. I've spent more than a decade trying to use binders, gauze, layers of sports bras, duct tape, and all sorts of unhealthy and ineffective methods of compressing my chest, only to be disappointed and disheartened every step of the way.

Not only does my chest give me a great deal of gender dysphoria, but it has also caused significant back pain, other physical problems and contributed to bad depression and anxiety. Growing up I always knew that I was different from everyone around me. Trying to navigate sexuality and gender is a difficult thing but I have always known who I am on the inside.

Until recently, I thought top surgery was outside the realm of possibilities for me, but I finally found a great surgeon willing to work with me whom I trusted. This surgery will allow me to present myself the way I feel inside and it will make me feel at home in my body .

Unfortunately, the procedure's cost is much greater than I can cover alone. If you can contribute, it would mean the world to me.

Assistant Fee $450

Hospital Fee $4000

Totalling a whopping $18,975.
