Help Chris Smith

I have known Chris for over a decade and he has had an immeasurable impact on my life. I am sure that many of you reading this feel the same way.

Over the past 18 months, life has thrown a number of curveballs his way including the passing of his mother. Under the tremendous pressure he has faced, Chris, like many people, turned to alcohol to cope with daily stress. Unfortunately, it has got the best of him. 

I am fundraising to help Chris get back on his feet and hope you can help save his life.

Chris has voluntarily entered himself in a detox program and will voluntarily enter a treatment facility, owned by one of our close friends who went to Florida State with us,  on Tuesday, September 11.
Frank Cilurso has secured a scholarship for him and has offered a 4 month intensive program at cost. It includes intensive treatment, housing and food.

I am confident that on the other end of this program, Chris will have a new chance to live a life that we all know he is capable of.

I am not only asking you to help save Chris' life but to help set this course in motion.  We all know Chris would gladly do the same for all of us. Anything you can contribute will help. Please keep this confidential and feel free to contact me with any questions. Please do not contact Chris directly during this critical time as it is best practice that he has no interruptions and he focuses exclusively on himself during this time.

I will personally be responsible for withdrawing funds and paying Frank/ the treatment facility for Chris' treatment.
