Cherie's fight to beat cancer

Donation protected

On May 14, 2019, Cherie (Hardenburgh) Langin was diagnosed with breast cancer, which was believed to be located only within the lump in her breast.  However, on June 17th, after further testing, it was discovered that the cancer is now Stage 4, and has spread into her lymph nodes, bones, and lungs.  Cherie started treatment right away and is undergoing chemotherapy in Grand Rapids, MI, to try and control further spreading of the cancer.  She has been told that the cancer, while treatable, is not curable and there are many unknowns about her life expectancy and cancer growth.  Because of the regularity and aggressive course of treatment, Cherie is unable to work to support herself and her 13 year old daughter, Dana.

Cherie has maintained a positive attitude, despite the diagnosis, and has set her sights on fighting for her life.  Anyone who knows her knows that when she sets her mind to something, there is no stopping her.  We, as her friends and family, don't want the financial and emotional burden from the diagnosis, treatment, and lack of work to drain the energy needed for this fight and want to provide her with as much support as possible.  Any help you can offer (thoughts, prayers, kind words, or financial donations) would be greatly appreciated.
