Help Chef Tyler Cooper keep a roof over his head
I am embarrassed to have to do this, but this no time for saving face. As you all know the restaurant industry has taken a severe hit this past year. I have worked as a chef for years and for the first time I find myself unable to work no matter how hard I try to. I did go back to work when they opened up the restaurants again, but the closure of indoor dining made me lose the hours I had gained just a couple weeks prior. I recently had to leave my apartment in San Diego because I could no longer pay the rent, I came to Los Angeles because I had a friend here I could stay with and I hoped for better job prospects. Like a bad joke less than 2 weeks after my arrival the restaurants have been closed, again!! I am looking for people who can sympathize with my situation and help me keep a roof over my head. I need rent to continue to pay my half of $1400 rent on a studio apartment here in Los Angeles.
If I don’t come up with this by the end of next week I will be looking at literally being on the street.
Whomever donates I will send you one ofmy favorite recipes for cold weather eating, because we all still have to eat and stay healthy during this crisis.
I love you all and I am so sorry to have to ask anything from you so hopefully my return of a recipe for any level of donation will let you feel you didn’t give somethingfor nothing.
I wish you all good health and well wishes during this crazy pandemic year of 2020.
