Help Charlie Recover from Surgery - Transgender
Charlie is by far the most resilient person you’ll ever meet. He has met many challenges head-on with his trademark humor, grace, and smile - and a mischievous smile at that!
He came out as his true self after 29 years of living in a world where he was perceived as female.
Some challenges make people hard, others make them softer. Charlie’s suffering only deepened his love and compassion for others. Like the heather in the story above, Charlie was “gifted” a hard life but became strong, sweet, and caring.
He has to stay in Greenbrae / San Rafael for three weeks for observation after his surgery. While his surgery is covered, he needs to rent an Airbnb, purchase food, and pay a helper who will make sure that he's healing correctly. He needs to raise this amount before he can have his surgery.
He needs to raise $10,000 by January 1st, 2022 for these costs.
