Help Charlie George walk again

Charlie George has been one of my best friends since childhood and I am starting this campaign to help him pay for medical expenses that are not covered by his insurance as he tries to regain the use of his legs. After experiencing partial paralysis from still unknown causes, Charlie had to undergo a multi-level thoracic spinal fusion surgery which installed an internal fixation including rods and screws in May 2021. Unfortunately, because he has been confined to a wheelchair since April even prior to his surgery he has suffered severe loss of motor control and leg strength. Since the surgery he has been doing extensive rehabilitation which is not covered by insurance and he has needed in home care which is extremely costly. It is a long process to regain enough strength to just stand up let alone to walk and perform daily activities. While he is making progress he still has a long way to go. This campaign's goal is to raise $50,000 which is truly only a drop in the bucket but will certainly help alleviate these medical costs. Anything you can contribute will be helpful. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers and hopefully he will get back to walking on his own someday soon.
