So my friend Charles was in a horrific accident on Feb 4th and is in need of some assistance to help pay for medical bills and other expenses while he recovers. Some of you may know him from his long time affiliation with The Singing Angels as their Artistic Director or from his college Alma Mater, Baldwin-Wallace.
The YouTube video, to be honest, is a little tough to watch and we're glad he wasn't injured worse. He shattered his clavical, suffers from a severe concussion, and severely injured his knee.
He's home and resting (and on meds). He's on Facebook and would love to hear from any of you, I'm sure. When I asked him what he needed and how he was doing, he said he needed help paying bills. He has no way to currently earn money as he can't play the piano or lift his arms. So rest assured, this money goes to him for rent and groceries...
Please consider donating whatever you can. For those of you who know him, "Chuck" is a hell of a sweet guy and a tremendous musician. So on top of having to go through a pandemic as an already starving artist, he now has this to add to what already is a full plate. We appreciate anything you can give...he needs some assistance asap. THANKS!
I wanted to also make sure all of you understood that 100% of the proceeds of this campaign will go directly to Charles. He is the only person with access to the funds through gofundme. He is the sole beneficiary of the campaign and only he can withdraw any of the money. As the administrator of the campaign I only have access to the gofundme portal for the campaign, not your donations. I have no access to funds whatsoever. FYI I set it up that way on purpose..
