Help Cedar Brook School's Van Replacement Project
Cedar Brook School's current van needs to be retired and replaced due to End of Service Life. This van's current condition while safe, will require extensive repairs in the future to keep the van operational for school use. This van is the primary van for student transportation for the New Bedford and Fall River areas. In addition to student transportation, this van is used for school trips throughout the year. The school is looking to purchase a used 12 passenger van to avoid a costly maintenance repairs on current van that will not result in a longer service life to the school.
The total cost for a certified pre-owned van including maint
enance is $30,000. Any and all monies that exceed the purchase will be placed in a School Van Maintenance fund for future repairs and maintenance of the school van. This will help with budgeting and planning as well as free up monies for other improvements at the school.
