Help Cassandra fight stage 3 breast cancer

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Cassandra and I am currently fighting an aggressive form of breast cancer that has already reached stage 3.

In January I noticed a lump and called the doctor to get it checked out, however with wait times it took a long time to get seen. By the time I was sent in for an ultrasound and eventually a biopsy it had grown much larger in size. Around mid March my biopsy results came back as invasive ductal carcinoma and I was referred to a cancer center where I then found out it had spread to nearby lymph nodes and entered stage 3. This was a huge shock to me and my family.
I am a stay-at-home mom right now to my 9M old daughter and we do not live very close to either of our families, so we are now having to place her into childcare since I will be too sick to care for her on my own. My mom will be visiting to help us during treatment and for the few days after.

My cancer care team has planned for me to go through chemotherapy for 4.5 months in hopes the tumors will shrink enough to perform surgery in order to remove them in a more effective manner. I will also need to undergo radiation, reconstruction, and very likely a hysterectomy as the estrogen produced from my ovaries is feeding the type of cancer I have.

As you can imagine being treated for cancer is going to cost a pretty penny, and while our insurance is pretty good and will cover a great deal of the costs, they won't cover absolutely all of it.
We have already almost completely drained our HSA account just paying for the initial biopsy and some of the medications I'm already being prescribed. My husband is doing what he can to keep working as bills need to get paid still, but we won't be able to afford it all on our own. So I've created this GoFundMe in order to try and raise some money to help relieve the financial stress of the this situation.

Having cancer at any age is terrifying, but having a young baby on top of it has really shaken me.. but I will do everything I can in order to make it out of this so that I can be there to watch her grow up. So I truly appreciate anyone who has taken the time to read through this and any donations made to help my family and I.

I will do my best to update this as I start and go through treatment.
My first day of chemotherapy is April 13, 2023.
