Help Carolyn Pole's Healing Journey

On Feb 6, 2021 while on vacation in Maui, celebrating my 60th Birthday, the trail to Red Sands Beach gave out  from under me and I rolled off a cliff  to rocks 15 feet below.  I'm  lucky to be alive, my brain eyes and spine intact. 
I suffered 6 fractures. 3 in lower left leg and ankle, requiring surgery to install screws and plates, 1 below and 1 above my left  eye and one to my left hand  fifth  metacarpal. Maui Ortho told me my left hand was set properly and did not require surgery. I just found out at my new mainland ortho's,  on 2/24/21, that it wasn't set properly, so I have to get surgery to  rebreak & reset it and have external fixation pins  4-5 weeks. Whaaaa! Its going to be a long time before I can walk, work and be back to normal.   Friends and family wanted to set this up for me, so people can help in big or small ways as their hearts guide them. For technical  purposes, it ended up being easier to set it up myself.  I'm  not very comfortable  asking for help, as I'm  usually  the one giving,  but this whole experience  has and continues to be very humbling.
