Help Carolyn Fight to Get Her Life Back

Carolyn Troublefield Bonner, a loving wife, mom, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend was recently the victim of a near fatal car accident placing her in a medical/health emergency. Carolyn’s character is always giving and loving, as she worked diligently to provide support to her family in infinite aspects of her life. This speaks to her huge heart and how this tragedy has drastically impacted her and her family’s life. Carolyn is a life-long resident of Wake County, North Carolina community and has worked in the financial services industry for more than forty years where she is currently employed with Wells Fargo.
On March 7th Carolyn was traveling on Poole Rd in Knightdale, NC on her way to visit and assist her mother. Suddenly, a fugitive involved in a high-speed chase with police T-boned Carolyn’s vehicle on the passenger’s side unexpectedly. After 20 mins of diligent work using the jaws of life, fire and rescue teams were finally able to remove Carolyn from the car by cutting off the top of the car. Her car was totaled, and she was immediately transferred to WakeMed in critical condition. Carolyn remained in ICU for 20 days in a comatose state. She sustained a traumatic brain injury, numerous broken bones, and other injuries because of this unfortunate incident. As you might imagine, Carolyn is facing a long, arduous, and expensive rehabilitation process. Her family and friends are completely devastated by what happened to Carolyn and are asking for your prayers as well as financial support.
Due to the nature of her injuries and complications of a traumatic brain injury, it is unclear what lies in the future for Carolyn. Although she is gradually recovering, the rehabilitation process is a long road to recovery. Ultimately, we would like for Carolyn to return to normal function so she can move forward from this tragedy. Nevertheless, the family’s immediate needs are for expenses to cover the medical, rehabilitation expenses not covered by insurance as well as the day-to-day expenses for her husband and immediate family who have remained by her side since the brutal accident.
