Help Carly Continue Fighting Angiosarcoma (Cancer)

Donation protected
Carly was diagnosed with  with the rare form a cancer, Angiosarcoma, in February 2013.

Over the past 6+ years, Carly, together with her husband Andrew, daughter Amelie (7 yrs) and family, have together been fighting this rare and aggressive cancer head on and with with most positive attitude possible.

Over the last 6+ years, Carly's cancer had resurfaced 3 times before she thought she had beaten it.  Carly underwent 2 mastectomy's, Chemo, Radiation, and 2 other invasive surgeries.  She changed her lifestyle, eliminating all non-plant based foods, sugar and chemicals from her diet, and eliminating all toxins from her house.  Everything possible has been tried to beat this cancer.

Unfortunately in March of 2019, Carly got the terrible news that her Cancer had shown its ugly face once again, and that her fight to beat it had to continue.  Carly has recently undergone another invasive surgery to remove 3 tumours and was told she will soon undergo a Shoulder Replacement to remove a 10cm tumour in her shoulder.
Unfortunately after further test results surgery has been put on hold and Carly will start chemo again.
We are currently working with Carly to explore overseas treatment options.

So what is Angiosarcoma:
Angiosarcoma (http://www.cureasc.org/about-us/)   is one of the most aggressive cancers and has a dismal prognosis with a 5 year overall survival rate of 30%.
As you may have worked out, Carly is past the 5 year average survival period - due mainly to her lifestyle choices, positive attitude and strenghth.  However, with this recurrence Carly, Andrew and Amelie  are once again in a race against time to find a treatment that will work for Carly.

Carly and Andrew are forever grateful to everyone that has donated money previously to help Carly fight this beast.  So far, Carly's treatment has cost more then $65,000 and Andrew and Carly have exhausted all funds to keep fighting this.  They once again need help.

Carly's doctors want to send tumour tissue to the US for genetic testing to determine whether any new treatments or clinical trials are available to help (at a cost of more than $8000.00).
She wants to continue her holistic treatments alongside the medical treatments to ensure her mind and body are in the best shape to fight this. This includes a treatment here in Perth that is set to cost over $600.00 per week over the course of the next 12 weeks.  And this is just short term.
As mentioned above we are currently working with Carly to explore overseas treatment options.

Andrew and Carly are reserved and uneasy about asking for help.

Any help that you can provide is greatly appreciated to help Carly keep fighting.

Andrew has asked me to thank each and every one of you who has helped and who continues to help. He also asks that if and when you see Carly at the local supermarket, on pool deck coaching or down at the beach, do not look at her as a woman with cancer, instead look at her how we see her - an amazing strong human being.
