Callie’s Dream Fund!

11.08.21 Update from Callie:

Hello all, 
thank you so much for all the donations so far! With the £4000 donated so far we have had 3 rounds of IUI fertility treatment and this has been unsuccessful so we are aiming to raise enough money to go straight into IVF in the hope to increase our chances and make my one and only dream of having a family with my wife a reality in whatever time I have left! 

This isn’t however the only thing we are raising money for now, I would love to reward all the nurses for the support and treatment I have received so far, there are no words for the job they take on every day! So I will be organising a really special treat to say thank you! Finally I plan to set up a local support group for others that are in a similar situation to me and there is literally no limits to how far it can go, with the right help behind me to get it up and running I hope it can continue for many years after I’m gone. 

Anyway that’s enough from me… the wife’s back in charge! Thank you for supporting us!

Callie was recently diagnosed with stage 4 Bowel cancer at 29 years old, this was a huge shock and after loosing her dad to
the same thing 3 year ago the news hit even harder. Myself and Callie have been going through fertility treatment to start our own little family which so far has been unsuccessful.  We have lots of dreams we hope we can make come true even while Callie is fighting this disease! 

So Callie isn’t alone with her hair loss during her treatment our lovely friend Kelsiee  has organised for her Rachael and Suzie to shave their hair and Jayne is going to do the shaving!  We are so thankful for them doing this for us and so Callie doesn’t have to be alone in this journey. We can’t thank them enough ❤️

We have started this go fund me page for friends and family to donate for them shaving their hair and for us to make some of our dreams come true! Our amazing friends would like to help us raise money to get away for a little break while Callie is having treatment as she will have to isolate the full time. 

We are hoping to also continue with our fertility treatment which is privately funded, any money we raise will go towards helping us finally get our own little family.
