Help Cactus Records and Staff during our move

Cactus Records & Gifts has been a staple in Bozeman, MT for 50 years and is believed to be an integral part of the fabric of the Bozeman community. Unfortunately, as many folks have heard by now, this summer our downtown location of the past 35 years was put up for sale by our landlords for a price well beyond our means. Because of this, we can no longer stay. After a considerable amount of time searching, we found a new location perfect for our needs. Also, it was for sale and we were able to purchase it at a price we were able to afford. We are beyond thrilled to have a new place to call home, but moving means we need to shut our doors temporarily. Renovating a new location so that it is up to city-approved codes, and creating an environment as unique as Cactus, takes time and money. The primary goal of this GoFundMe is to provide a safety net for our staff during this uncertain time. We are still trying to figure out a timeline for completion of construction, packing, moving, and re-assembly before we can be operational again. We estimate it to take close to a month. Paying the staff during this time, without the revenue we have when we are open, is risky business, and can make an already precarious experience even more daunting. All proceeds of this GoFundMe will go to cover Staff and moving expenses. If you are comfortable helping us with this by donating, we greatly appreciate it. If not, no worries!
