Help further improve Woburn Bikepark

Donation protected
Woburn Bikepark for 25+ years has been built with just shovels and spades to create what it is today. I left my job as a full time gas engineer to pursue my dreams of being a bikepark builder. My drive and passion has always kept me going strong to continue to build and design the bikepark and push the limits of trailbuilding.

Over the past two months the bikepark has been closed due to unofficial trail building. After many hours of meetings, countless emails and phone calls, between the land owners Bedford Estate, the land managers Greensands Trust and the Councils we have created a ‘build crew’ for Woburn to secure the future of the bikepark. Between us all we have made a huge amount of progress discussing the process of how we are going to manage the bikepark. I have designed a long term plan and a build proposal for Woburn to facilitate all cyclists whether you’re 1yr old from a beginner to elite rider to ensure there is something for you all, creating a bigger and better experience.
This will entail many projects such as new grading system, mapped out trails, balance bike trails, flow lines, tabletop rhythms, picnic areas, trick jumps (small to large) plus so much more, they’ll be something for everyone and if there isn’t or you have a suggestion we can incorporate that into a future project.

One of the biggest changes is that after designing a future projection for the bikepark, we have been granted permission to have the use of a machine(digger and dumper) which is incredibly exciting and will be greatly beneficial to making Woburn bikepark an all round great facility to support the future of cycling and the younger generation.

Below is my breakdown for the costing to sue the machines as they will be used for two months due to the summer quickly approaching

digger. 8 weeks x 432 = £3456
dumper. 8 weeks x 150 = £1200
fuel. 60 days x 60 litres = £3600

total amount £ 8256.00

(including vat)

Bedfordshire Estates and The Green Sands Trust provide the land access and management of the site but in addition to this support we would like to fundraise to allow us to improve further.

The bikepark will be open as soon as it’s ready and you can keep up to date via my social media channels, Instagram and YouTube as KIINGOFSPADES.

Any contribution to this project would be greatly appreciated to help us fund this vision.
We just want to build the best bikepark for you all to enjoy and by helping us you are becoming a key member for this project.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope to see you all in the bikepark in the not so distant future.

Thank you
