Help Build the James Lodato Field Of Dreams

Donation protected
James "The Beast" Lodato passed away on May 30, 2018 at 7-years old after battling alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma or ARMS which is a very rare and aggressive form of cancer. After his passing, my brother worked closely with "The Beasts" elementary school principal and teachers to have a bench placed on the schools grounds in his honor. The school and local officials went above and beyond and were granted permission to build the James Lodato Field of Dreams on the grounds of Forest Lake elementary school in Wantagh, NY. The things that James loved the most was spending time with his family, his friends, being at school and anything having to do with baseball - especially the Mets. This field will be the most fitting honor and tribute to a beautiful and amazing little boy and will also give his friends and other families a beautiful park to play at for many years to come. The family is honored for this gesture but it's going to take a lot of funding to get it built. Please know that 100% of the funds received will go directly to the Wantagh Little League and to the school to get the field built. There is also a fundraising event taking place in Wantagh, NY on May 5th - tickets can be purchased at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/james-lodato-field-of-dreams-mulcahys-fundraiser-tickets-58031317232?aff=ebdssbdestsearch

I'll certainly keep everyone posted on the progress and on behalf of the entire Lodato family, thank you for your love and support and we hope to see each and everyone at the James Lodato Field of Dreams!
