Help build Chiswick Hedgehog Highways

Hello,

I am raising funds for WildChiswick, a growing community group raising awareness and helping urban wildlife across Chiswick. We have located hedgehogs in Chiswick and have begun drilling holes in fences and walls to give them access to more green spaces.

 

Hedgehogs need to travel over a mile each night which means travelling across at least 20 gardens to find all the food they need, find a nesting site and meet a mate. The more gardens we can open up the more chance they have of fulfilling these basic needs. They are classed as a vulnerable species in threat of extinction so the fact we have them in Chiswick is worth treasuring and protecting their habitats.

 

We need to buy two drills and two different types of drill bit to go through fences and walls.

We would like to raise £1,000 to meet this cost. Any extra money raised, or money left over, will go towards our wildlife talks we are organising for next year.
