On March 17, Adele Henriksen, 12, suddenly lost their beloved father, Matthew Henriksen. As a teacher at Haas Hall Academy in Springdale, where Adele attends 7th grade, Matthew constantly instilled a love of learning in them. Adele is a voracious reader, writer, and lover of Greek mythology who is always sketching and creating or improvising on an instrument. While losing a parent is first and foremost an emotionally devastating experience, its impacts go far beyond the initial shock of the loss. The ripple effect of this tragedy extends to Adele's future needs, both emotional and financial. That’s why we’re establishing a fund for Adele's college tuition.
