Help Build a Well- Oday Abukhalil

May 23rd, 2018; 15 year old Oday Akram Abukhalil a young Palestinian boy living through the occupation in Palestine, was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers while protesting for his country, for his family, and for the future of his homeland. Oday was such a caring and generous kid. He had a heart of gold and a beautiful pure soul that everybody loved.  Although Oday's life was short he was still able to touch the lives of many people; friends, families, neighbors, and even strangers who found out about him after his death.  His death hurt many people, even those who didn't know him personally were heartbroken by all the beautiful words and stories told by his family and friends. He left behind him a legacy filled with love, and sincerity; as Oday's family we want to continue to keep his name alive and maintain a beautiful legacy for our brave martyr, our hero.

We are fundraising to build a water well in Oday's name to help provide for villages and families living in areas where water isn't available. With your donation, you're not only helping save people, and provide water for them; you're also helping by giving sadaqah jariyah (endless charity) which means you get rewarded for every person that benefits from the water well, and Oday also gets rewarded for every person that benefits from the water well. We ask that you keep Oday in your prayers and pray for his family as we mourn our painful loss and continue life without him. 

All the donations will be going to the Pious Projects of America, they are known for their water projects in which they go to countries and villages where people have no clean water sources and build water wells for them to make water available for them to live.  Each water well costs $2,500 to build and one single water well can help provide for an entire village full of families and give them clean water (a basic necessity of life) for them to survive and care for each other.
