Help Build a Water Well (Ceel) for Samiya Saciid

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Kind. Inshallah with your great generosity and help we intend to help the Saeed family with the funeral costs and building a water well in the name of Samiya.

As Salamu Alakum dear brothers and sisters it is with great sadness that we share our beloved sister Samiya Said Abdi passed away on Tuesday February 1st, in a tragic car accident.

For those of you who knew Samiya you are aware of how funny, beautiful and heartwarming she was. Samiya was an amazing sister, an aunt, daughter and a friend. Her beautiful smile would light up a room. Samiya cared for her community so much, up until her death and through the pandemic she worked on the front line at our local hospital. Outside of work, she enjoyed spending time with her 12 siblings.

We have organized this GoFundMe to assist the Saeed family with the cost of the unexpected funeral and sadaqah. In her memory we will build wells and supply water to parts of the world in Samiya’s name.
