This amazing family living in Nigeria has been part of our online church family throughout 2020 and was friends with a Greenbelt Church family for several years before that. Jesse & Queen participate in Greenbelt's online Sunday church service then join weekly via Zoom for a LifeGroup Bible study. Due to the time difference and frequent lack of electricity, they join their LifeGroup in the dark, wee hours of the morning, with just a cellphone and a flashlight so that other group members can see their faces on the video call. We as their community want to help them regain financial stability and be empowered to bless others around them where they live.

Jesse & Queen live in Abuja, Nigeria's capital city, in the midst of religious persecution and a difficult economic and political situation. The addition of covid this year has also made finding work more complicated and adds a whole extra level of difficulty and stress. It has been challenging to not only pay for rent and food but also the school fees for their 5 children, Excel, Great, Sharon, Princess, and Mighty. They have also been trying to help support 5 nieces and nephews since Jesse's sister and brother-in-law passed away about a year ago.

Jesse wants to become an Uber driver in the city to provide for his family long-term. First, he needs a car! A car becomes a means to spread the love of God to many people by serving them as a driver, trusting the Lord to also open and protect opportunities to minister to those the Spirit has prepared. 

A vehicle costs about $5200 (Canadian), plus various other expenses like licensing and registration to get up and running.
