Help build a classroom for the kids of Mafinga

Hi everyone,

We need your help, urgently! Mafinga is a small city in central Tanzania, and on the outskirts of the town is Bright Daycare & Kindergarten. The kindergarten schools over 60 children from disadvantaged backgrounds, providing them with quality education, nutritious meals, a place to stay when their parents are working, and a chance to continue their education.

However, the kindergarten is only for children up to age 5. When they graduate, it is not guaranteed that they will continue their education. So, we are trying to build 2 classrooms until the start of the next academic year (January 2025), so that every child who is in the daycare right now will have the chance to go to primary school.

The ultimate goal is to build a primary school with all the academic, athletic, artistic and technological amenities that a school should have. For now, though, we are fundraising for the infrastructure of 2 classrooms only, so the children can start 1st grade in any case. As we build more funds, other parts of the school will get built around the classrooms.

I am lucky enough to be a part of this organisation, and will continue to work with them to develop this amazing initiative, with your help. Let’s help these lovely, smart, hardworking children get the education they deserve!
