When Hurricane Melissa tore through Jamaica, the devastation it left behind was unimaginable. In Falmouth, Trelawny, I have seen it first hand. The local fire station and paramedics — who are often the first and only line of emergency medical response for rural communities — have been left without the vital supplies they need to save lives.

While international aid has started arriving in major towns, small rural areas like Falmouth are being left behind. Essential medical supplies — bandages, IV fluids, trauma kits, medications, oxygen, and more — are in critically short supply. Every day without these items means people are suffering and dying from preventable causes.

We’re raising funds to purchase and deliver emergency medical supplies directly to the Falmouth Fire Station and local paramedics who are working tirelessly to care for hurricane victims. Your donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward:
