My name is AMER ABDELMALEK, a Palestinian Canadian living in Edmonton Alberta

I am reaching out with a plea for help to reunite my brother and his family, who are currently stuck in Gaza, with us in Canada. The challenging circumstances in the region have created significant obstacles, making it difficult for them to secure the necessary resources to relocate.

My brother and his wife have 6 kids including a new born that was birthed during the war.

The government of Canada stated they will not help with any of these expenses as they said it must all be paid out of pocket.

We are seeking your assistance to support and fund the reunification and subsequent settlement of our family in Canada. Every dollar raised through this campaign will be diligently used to cover a range of essential expenses for our family members. These costs include…

* Paperwork (biometrics, issuing passports, and application fees

* Accommodation until visas are granted.

* Flights from Egypt to Edmonton.

* Establishment costs and settlement in Canada 

*accommodation, furniture, transportation, weather appropriate clothing,etc.

* If funds permit, pocket money for initial expenses and groceries. 

* English language classes

With each passing day, the situation is becoming more perilous. the uncertainty of the future weighs heavily on our hearts. We have made the difficult decision to seek refuge outside of Gaza for the safety and well-being of our family, and as turned out there is no safe place no matter wherever they go the airstrikes follow them.
