Life has a way of changing on us when we least expect it, as it did for Brianna on the night of November 13, 2019 at 12:30 pm.
She was on her way home, after dropping a friend off in Killeen, who needed a way home, when tragic struck. Her gas light had been coming on prematurely, so she stopped on the side of the road to add more gas, as a precaution. She went to the back of her car, where the gas door was located, and the last thing she remembers is waking up in the hospital.
Someone hit her and left the scene. Brianna was hit from the back, which flipped her in the air, where she fell to the ground, unconscious. She suffered four breaks in her pelvic bone, broken knee, broken toe, back fractures, hip fractures.
She was in the hospital for extended period, and is now unable to walk much or move around due to her injuries. She has two little boys ages 16 months and 3 years of age, who she is having difficult caring for due to her injuries, the insurance totaled out her car, and she was terminated from her job, and the hospital bills are mounting up. They police have been unsuccessful at catching the person that hit her. She needs to go to physical therapy, and is unable to get there due no transportation or $$.
