A Herculean Task
Devoted husband, father of two and well respected member of the apparel industry, Brian and his family are facing a truly Herculean task. The cancerous brain tumor he has courageously battled for the past 17 years has returned and is once again rapidly growing.
A member of the Mon Cheri Bridals family for over 10 years, Brian is a dedicated and beloved sales manager for our company’s prom dress collections. Just four short weeks ago, we celebrated the fact that his most recent treatment shrunk the tumor to 20% of its biggest mass to date. Now it has started to grow again and is back to 35%.
Unfortunately, due to the severity of the treatment, Brian’s treatment options are very limited, with some already used to their maximum dosage. A new strategy is being formulated and is very complicated.
Additionally, Brian has pulmonary lymphoma of the lungs brought on by various past treatments. Simultaneously fighting brain cancer and lung cancer is a Herculean task.
As Brian’s family prepares for the next life saving battle, they are faced with the financial crisis that cancer has imposed. For the next several weeks, Brian must make the daily trip from Long Island, NY to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City for treatment, appointments and tests. The costs of transportation, parking, gas, food, etc. will certainly add up. What may seem like a small donation to you will help make all the difference to Brian and his family.
