Help Brenda Kick Cancer's Ass

My Mother-In-Law, Brenda, is battling inoperable metastasized lung cancer.
Brenda is currently half way through her first course of intensive radiation and chemotherapy treatment and we are unaware of how long this will take. We could be looking at up to a year and a half of treatment.
Our worries are mainly focused on Brenda's daily treatments and recovery. Although Brenda is an amazing fighter, treatment is starting to take its toll on her overall physical and emotional health. We have been amazed, but not surprised, at her incredible fortitude in dealing with these very challenging circumstances.
My Father-In-Law, Howard, has taken an undetermined leave from his job to be her primary caregiver. They have applied for assistance through the government’s Caregiver Allowance Program but are currently still awaiting approval.
The financial burdens are starting to mount with trips to RVH Cancer Centre in Barrie five days a week. Not only are they covering transportation costs, but they have been surprised at the amount of costly medical needs and even prescription medications that are not covered.
If you could find it in your heart to support them and ease their financial burden, I know that your generosity would go a long way and make this journey a little bit easier for them. Thank you so much for your kindness.
