Howdy folks, I’m Brando.

As many folks that know me are aware of, I’ve had a pretty difficult two years filled with healthcare issues, poverty, hunger, and money shortfalls after losing my media job for health issues that involved two surgeries and trying to find stability after contracting HIV.

I’m now facing another challenge, complete and total homelessness and systematic crippling of my driving privileges due to an astronomical driving toll bill I could never pay.

 $8,000 dollars to be precise.

Ez pass will not negotiate with me on the amount now. They want $2000 alone just to lift the suspension after raising the bill from $5000 to $8000 when they suspended my registration.

During my last two years I’ve suffered a number of hits to my driving privileges simply because I couldn’t afford to pay the heavy tolls and parking tickets that come along with living in nyc.

I was living in my car working for the New York department of environmental conservation for the summer, but 2 weeks before the end of my seasonal job term, I was pulled over and charged with driving on a suspended license and registration, which I was unaware of to due to mail shortfalls living nomadically.

They summoned me to a very suspicious court hearing on thanskgivng day at 5 in the morning.

Now, the challenge is, I can’t even make it to the court hearing because my registration is suspended and I can’t afford to pay to lift. I fear they will put out a warrant for my arrest if I can’t make it.

Im beyond frustrated and marooned without a car in Pennsylvania. I can’t effectively look for jobs as im unemployed and immobilized and cut off from friends and family in my

NYC home.

I need desperate help to get the suspension lifted and the toll payments cleared before the court date.

I fear that im being threatened with jail time due to my poverty considering the base sentence for the registration is 30 days in jail.

I desperately need help to get a fresh start and get the states incessant hampering of my mobility off my back. Any help goes a long way.
