Help Brand New Mama, Kristen, Defeat Breast Cancer

This is a story of a woman who has lived a life of struggle.
A woman who continues to persevere no matter what, with positivity and light. Someone who spreads love and joy and acceptance to everyone she meets... and who would do anything to help another soul in need. Now is the time for us to return the kindness and rally around her to help her through the most difficult battle of her life.
On April 8th, 2020, Kristen had her first baby boy, Cameron. Her precious rainbow baby after NINE painful miscarriages. Kristen suffers from Chron's Disease which makes pregnancy very difficult. It also leaves her without much of an immune system and has even almost killed her in the past. With much risk involved with her pregnancy, AND during the very scary time of the COVID-19 pandemic, she was thrilled to be able carry him to full term. But after delivering sweet Cameron, they found that he had a number of serious health issues and was in the ICU for 7 days.
He was released on April 15th and FINALLY Kristen and Joe could take their baby boy home and start enjoying life as a new family. At a time when they should have been blissfully happy, Kristen gets hit out of left field with a breast cancer diagnosis.
It is the most aggressive form of breast cancer, called Triple Negative, and she is in Stage 2a.
The immediate plan of action is to get imaging done and a port put in within the next week.
Chemo will be started within 2 weeks and will continue for approximately 4-5 months.
She was told that the worst side effect is extreme fatigue, which she already struggles with as a side effect of Chron's, and she will lose all her hair. Imagine being a brand new mama with a newborn, already exhausted, already dealing with Chron's, and now dealing with chemo treatments...
The good news is that her doctor feels very hopeful that her treatments will be successful.
