Help Bobbie Radock Regain Independence at Home
Donation protected
So many times in her life, she put her community before herself. Bobbie Radock, a long time Leominster High School Secretary retired six years ago due to spinal fusion of three vertebrae that got infected and caused three other surgeries. Most recently she had been admitted into Leominster Hospital in June for a spiral fracture of a different vertebrae, and was followed up with a diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma, a treatable type of cancer that has impaired her mobility. She has been in a rehab facility all summer, making some stunning progress in regaining independence, and is looking forward to coming home this weekend, but she needs help.
When she gets home, Bobbie is going to need some help making the house accessible to her. She will need an easy access to the house, requiring retrofitting of an entrance, purchase and installation of some mobility equipment including hand rails, grab bars, shower assists, a temporary private home health aid, and other equipment that will help make her feel at home.
Bobbie has a very hard time asking for herself, so her circle of friends wanted to create this way for her to get the help she needs, since she has been so giving of her time to the Community.
