Help BLM Gadsden Leader

Jerome Gunn has been leading the Black Lives Matter Movement in Gadsden since the murder of George Floyd in May 2020. In the months since, he has received threats from the community, harassment from Gadsden Police with bogus warrants and received hate mail at his business and now it has turned into violence. Last night his business was broken into and an explosive (bomb) was placed inside - resulting in a fire that has completely damaged the building. THIS IS TERRORISM! THIS IS A HATE CRIME! We stand with Jerome and we are asking you to do the same. One of the most important ways right now is financially. This building was his source of income. This building has  also hosted free brake light repair clinics, food and clothes for the homeless every Sunday, back to school drives for Gadsden kids and last but not least this is where he holds all his marches and Black Lives Matter meetings in the community. Jerome paid out of his pocket for more than 13  people that were affected by an apartment complex fire to help those in need with hotel rooms. He has also helped people in the Birmingham area with donating $500 to get their water cut back on due to the crisis with Covid 19 and even paid for 25 hotel rooms when Jacksonville,Al was damaged by tornadoes. He has done so much in the community it's hard to list it all. Donating to this cause will not just help him open another business but also we know he will help others in the process . Yes he has insurance but they are telling him it will take 7-8 months for an investigation to process and be over. So everyone, Jerome has and is still playing his part in the community as a young black male leader! Therefore,  please let’s do our part by helping this Alabama activist leader that's in need!
