Help Billy “Coach” Connors and Family

As many of you know, on April 15 2021, Billy suffered a massive stoke and was taken by medevac to Overlook Hospital in Summit NJ.  After a successful surgery, he suffered several seizures, which left him in critical care for 5 days.  Once he was removed from the ventilator and with some strength back, he was moved to Atlantic Rehab in Madison NJ where he is making progress in all his therapies (OT, PT, ST).  
 
His goal is to get back to doing what he loves , and our goal is to help him get there without the extra burden of the enormous bills he is incurring.
 
Billy resides in NJ with his wife Millie and 2 daughters, Yesenia (10) and Jamie (9) ..and their cat Clover.
 
He has been teaching High School business classes for over 30 years in Hoboken, Sparta, Emerson and Weehawken.  In addition to his years teaching, he has been coaching as much as 3 sports during a single school year, including soccer, basketball, softball, football and lacrosse.  He loves all aspects of his job but mostly helping the kids that need him most.
 
The only thing he loves more than teaching/coaching are his daughters who he misses like crazy, just as much as they miss him!!  He is often found on the fields in town coaching Yesenia in soccer and softball and attending Jamie’s tennis practices!  He doesn’t miss a thing!
 
Anyone that knows him, knows that he is the first person to show up and help someone, never needing to be asked, he just shows up.  Now we are asking for your help.  While we “know” he will recover – there is still some work to be done.
