Help Bikram's small business recover from theft.

Hi, my name is Dylan. I am one of Bikram's (Bik) oldest friends; we grew up about a block away from the age of 5 and have stayed close ever since. Bik has always been resilient and a hard worker. Bik is a local entrepreneur known well in New Westminster, BC, Canada and beyond.

Bik was born with cerebral palsy but has never let that stop him from living his life to the fullest and achieving his goals. He's always persevered and is very proud of the business he has built himself and his family.

 

Many people don't know that during the most challenging time of the Covid-19 lockdowns, all of Bik's lawn care equipment and tools were stolen by thieves. As a result, many years of hard work, sacrifice, and savings were taken from Bik and his family in a single night. Bik's business insurance only replaced a small portion of the total loss. As a result, Bik has been unable to purchase new machinery, constantly buying used and poor quality equipment, putting a severe financial strain on his business.

 

Bikram is proud of his hard work and initially didn't want me to reach out to the community and ask for help. Finally, I convinced him that his community, friends, and friends of friends wanted to support him and help him get back on his feet!

 

Use of Proceeds:

We've shopped around and have created an itemized list of tools to replace the ones that were stolen and have also included a new enclosed trailer that will have a commercial-grade alarm and lock installed on it to prevent future attempts at theft.
