Help Ben FINALLY Record his Original Music!

Hey, my name is Ben Whittington and I'm a full-time musician who has spent the last decade performing in venues across Australia playing 'covers' for people to sing, dance and party along to!
Now, I would love the opportunity to FINALLY make my mark in the music world by recording and releasing my own music for everyone to hear.

After experiencing quite a few 'speed-bumps', 'set-backs' and 'let-downs' over the past few years, I'm determind to get back up on this frustrating horse.

Recently, I booked in studio time, hired sound engineers and had organised musicians to help me achieve this goal. But in the eleventh hour, my entire run of 15-Fringe shows that were intended to cover all the costs, were completely cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions. I was then forced to postpone everything, going back to square one to start saving once more. 
Soon after, in a 'freak accident', I broke my foot and had to cancel quite a bit of work resulting in having to dip in to that money saved to pay my bills/rent etc. 

I also applied for the 'MDO Project Support Grants Program – April 2021', in hope of some financial help, but was sadly unsuccessful.

I feel at this stage I have exhausted a lot of my options and after long hesitation, have decided to unashamedly ask for some help from my friends and family to help me cover the costs...

I've already saved up $1000 of my own, but unfortunately it's not a cheap journey to record and produce music properly...
- Between $2000+ alone in studio room hire and employing musicians/engineers to set up the room and record each instrument/vocal track.
- $$ spent mixing and mastering each track.
- $$ spent printing and creating hard copies of the album.
- $$ spent in promotion afterward to get it out in to the world.

So, I'm (terrifyingly!) reaching out for any contribution, big or small, to put toward FINALLY reaching this long-awaited goal of having my own music professionally recorded and released.
